Course Aims

Introduction to sailing and seamanship

This course is run from our base, at Largs, in the Clyde over 2 days. The Clyde, with its amazing scenery and sheltered waters, is the perfect location to introduce beginners to basic seamanship, helmsmanship and safety

Ability After Course

Basic sailing experience (Note the Start Yachting Course counts for 2 days of the Practical Competent Crew Course)
