Course Introduction

Welcome to your P.A.D.I.  Open Water Diver Course. With the Glaciere of Liverpool. If you don’t already know we have a very high standard,. All our courses are Conducted in a relaxed and friendly manner. Our aim is to make you a Safe and confident diver.

In this course you will learn all you need to know to set you on your way into the underwater world.

We set our Course out into two Stages. This helps you by letting you pay for your course in two Stages, rather than paying for the entire course upfront.  And also allows you to refer to any PADI Dive Center in the world to do Stage two if you wish.

Stage 1

·       Knowledge Development

·       Confined Water Swimming Pool Dives  

The price for stage one is £225 this price includes, your course manual, log book, Dive planner Slates, kit hire, air refills. Site entrance fees   

Knowledge Development

We now have two new purpose built classrooms, we have a land base at South Ferry Quay Liverpool marina, and a class room onboard the Glaciere Outside the Tate gallery in the Albert dock  

When reading your course manual you can answer all the questions in your knowledge review booklet because all the answers are shown in the manual. Our MOTTO is nobody fails.  All our courses are run at your own pace to suit you, and your work schedule you will never be rushed. You can enjoy your course and have loads of fun at your own pace

Confined water dives

In this section you will complete five pool dives. Our pool is situated in Spindles Heath center in the Adelphi hotel at the heart of Liverpool’s ever growing city center. The pool has modern faculties for you to use at your pleasure,

After completing all the requirements of stage one you can now go to any P.A.D.I. Dive centre in the world and do stage two, or you can stay with us and complete your stage two open water dives.

Stage 2

Open Water

This part of the course will take place in open water. The course price includes site entrance fees, air fills and certification card. Kit hire

In this course you will use all the skills you have learnt in the swimming pool and class room, and put them to the test in the open water.

What do you do now?

On completion of stages one and two you are now a P.A.D.I. Open Water Scuba Diver and you can dive to a depth of 18 meters.
