We
try
to
make
sure
that
anyone
who
wants
to
sail,
can
-
however
you
do
need
to
be
aged
over
12
and
preferably
able
to
swim
the
length
of
an
average
swimming
pool.
You
can
come
on
your
own
or
as
part
of a
group
(maximum
of
12
per
voyage)
You
will
sail
with
people
of a
similar
age,
usually
grouped
12-17yrs
and
18-24yrs.
No
sailing
experience?
Not
a
problem
-
Our
sea
staff
are
here
to
teach
you
all
you
need
to
know
about
helping
to
sail
GMC
- it
will
be
hard
work
but
lots
of
fun.
Special
Needs?
You
will
really
enjoy
sailing
with
us
even
if
it
is

a
day
sail,
come
along
and

Medical
conditions
- As
long
as
we
know
about
them
in
advance.
In
some
cases,
we
may
ask
you
to
get
the
approval
of
your
doctor.
Food
- we
provide
healthy
options
on
board
but
if
you
have
specific
dietary
requirements
just
let
us
know
in
advance
so
we
can
stock
up
before
we
set
sail
Not
from
the
North
West?
- We
welcome
people
from
all
parts
of
the
country
and
even
abroad.
Funding
- It
can
be
expensive
to
sail,
but
many
groups
have
in
their
area
organisations
that
may
be
able
to
help,
it's
a
case
of
asking
around.
Frequently
young
people
themselves
contribute
by
way
of
sponsored
events
and
other
money-raising
activities.
If
you
would
like
to
discuss
the
question
of
funding,
please
