We
provide
:
- Lifejacket
- Oilskin jacket and trousers (Waterproofs) you can bring your own if you wish, but walking jackets and trousers do not work well at sea and the seawater can damage breathable membranes.
- Food
- Insurance
You
will
need
to
bring
:-
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Waterproof footwear, preferably wellies,
- Shore footwear - trainers are fine.
- One or two changes of warm clothes- even if it is a summer voyage, it can be cold!!!
- Washing kit including a towel.
- Warm hat and gloves
- Clothes for shore wear
- Swim wear (just in case!)
- Sunglasses
- Sun cream
- Optional- camera, torch, diary etc
- Plastic bag for wet clothes
- Glasses / contact lenses if necessary
- Any regular medication
- Seasickness tablets- check with your pharmacist to decide the best brand and dose for you, especially if you are taking any other medication.
- Money- you won't need very much, but this is up to you.
- Passport or identity card but only if your joining instructions say this is necessary.
Please
pack
all
of
your
kit
into
a
soft-sided
holdall
type
bag
which
can
by
easily
folded
away
or
stowed
into
small
spaces.
Please
note
there
is
no
room
for
suitcases
on
board.
